Chef Teresa Szlachta

Teresa has trained extensively and studied in Rzeszow, Poland, in one of the country’s most exclusive culinary schools specializing in Gastronomy.

Since her arrival in Toronto in 1989 she has worked in various fields of the food industry. In addition to working in some of Toronto’s most successful restaurants, Teresa has also worked with several skilled chefs and has benefited greatly from their knowledge and expertise. She has been working successfully in the catering business for the last 15 years. In 2004 she joined the Culinary Studio in partnership with Gianni Ceschia and ever since has been actively involved in this thriving catering business. Teresa is currently an active member of the Women’s Culinary Network. In addition, she maintains her Food Handler’s Safety Certificate. She is also a member of the Association of Italian Chefs in Canada (AICC) and has recently been elected to the position of Lady Chef representative for this organization.
